Teach Us to Solve
Each week, you will be asked to respond to the prompt or prompts in the discussion forum. Your initial post should be 75-150 words in length, and is due on Sunday. By Tuesday, you should respond to two additional posts from your peers.
For your discussion this week you are going to teach your classmates how to solve since this is a great way for you to also learn.
Chose an exercise from the Chapter 2 Review on pages 187-189 (problems 1 through 88 only) that you can demonstrate for the class. Try to pick one that someone else has not solved. Work through the problem and explain your steps.
You have several options on how to post this in the discussion forum: Take a photo of your work and add it to your discussion using the button. Type up your work using the math editor ( ) in the discussion. Use your phone to record a video of your paper as you work through a problem and explain each step. Add it to your discussion using the button
When you reply to a classmate, evaluate their work. Are there are steps or explanations are that confusing? Are there missing steps? Evaluate the work as if you are the teacher and providing feedback.
